My Brick Looks Terrible
My brick doesn’t look good. It doesn’t match what I picked out. It is a completely different in color. These are the statements and frustrations we get on new construction sites.
We had a buyer go to the job site right after the brick was installed and they very frustrated. They called me and requested a meeting. When I arrived, you can tell they were freaked out. When I went over to the brick, I noticed immediately that it was washed yet. I could see the streaks of red tint where the brick layers had cut the bricks on the skafling going up the wall.
I calmly explained to the buyers that their brick will be look different after the wash. They had their doubts, but I believed I eased their worries for now. Within the next couple of days, after the brick was washed, I received a call from the buyers. Their mood was completely different and were extremely happy with the brick.
When you look at brick after it is first installed, it will look different. Wait until it is washed. It will look completely different.
